THIS IS SPARTA — carved in relief.
A lone Spartan warrior stands his ground, spear raised, lambda shield forward, as the phalanx rises behind him. Every detail is sculpted in deep dimensional relief — the crested Corinthian helmet, muscled bronze cuirass, fallen helmets and arrows at his feet, and a torn battle standard overhead — all framed by a rugged carved-stone border.
Each piece is handcrafted in my studio and hand-finished in a rich antique bronze and gold patina over a deep black base, giving it the weight and presence of an ancient artifact pulled from Thermopylae itself.
